FAQ

Where are you based out of? Do couples ever travel to you for shoots?

Can you recommend trusted vendors even if I'm not booking you as a planner?

I'm based out of Orange County, CA! Plenty of my couples do travel so they can make a little trip out of getting photos done. California has tons of incredible locations, national parks, landscapes, mountains, and deserts that I know like the back of my hand since I grew up in SoCal! My favorite places to shoot are Joshua Tree, Big Bear Lake, Yosemite, and Big Sur!

If you decide that you would only like to book my team and I for photography, I'd be more than happy to send over my guide to SoCal vendors! This guide is full of amaaaazing vendors I've previously worked with! Just shoot me an email after booking that you'd like to receive the guide :)

How many images do you include in our gallery? What's your turnaround time?

What happens if we need to reschedule?

If you’ve already put a deposit down on a date then have to move/cancel it, the deposit is legally non-refundable and a new deposit will have to be made in order to hold your new date. When it comes to rescheduling for other reasons (like weather) I always encourage embracing whatever comes our way, to make for some unique in photos.

Each gallery is different based on the type of package you booked! If we're shooting for about an hour, you'll probably get around 100 photos in your gallery, while for an 8hr wedding day gallery will more than likely have around 800 images. I don't give a cutoff number when it comes to delivering photos since I don't like to withhold any images from my clients! My turnaround time depends on how busy I am, but I typically send out sessions within about 3 weeks and weddings within about 6 weeks!

Who do you work best with? What type of clients do you work with?

Almost everyone! If you're the type of person who is used to being in front of the camera, that's AMAZING! If you hate taking pictures or this may be your first time in front of the camera, that's freakin' awesome too and I'm glad you're looking into having ME capture these memories for you!!! My team and I also offer full wedding planning as well as day of coordination and everything in between.  Everyone at least needs a wedding day coordinator.  They make your day run smoothly by being there to handle all of the things you haven’t thought of. We also work well with couples that value the wedding of their dreams but they don’t know how to get there. We love to work with positive people who are truly in love and realize that your wedding is more than just the decorations and flowers. It’s about celebrating your love and starting your new life together. And then we’re here to help you do this in style!

Do you do weddings outside of CA and/or outside of the US?

Yes! We have actually worked with quite a few couples across the country. We’ve had clients that lived in IL, DC, FL, TX, and even Alaska, Italy, and Thailand! Having a wedding planner is quite beneficial in that situation since you most likely don’t have the time to fly in often to meet with vendors, etc. We’d love the opportunity to talk to you about how we can help keep you stress free while planning your destination wedding. What form of payment do you accept and do you have a payment plan?

How many weddings do you take per year?

We accept all payments through a secure payment gateway via Honeybook, where you'll receive your proposal with your contract and invoice for the services you're booking. We do require an initial down payment of $1,000 to book your wedding date. In some cases, for example to book an engagement session, the retainer fee will be 50% of your session total. We will then work with you to create a payment schedule for the remaining amount on your invoice.

Each year is different but this year I'll only be taking on up to two weddings a month so that I can really focus on the quality of work I give to my couples! I've been doing weddings for years now and I have finally learned how important quality > quantity really is. I'll still be taking on photo sessions all throughout the year, just send me an inquiry with the date you and your boo would want to shoot on!
